"Well, what can we say! The gite has served so wonderfully as our base over the past week, and also
as extension to your home. It has given us an insight into the ideal of ‘la vie en france’. You have
such a lovely home and have shared it with sincere hospitality. We wish you all the best in the future
venture and are thankful to be your initial residents."
Paul Hickin & Carol Jones, Bradford, West Yorks
"We’ve had a wonderful holiday!W hat
a lovely holiday home you have created! Some of the things we’ve enjoyed in the area: Two quirky but fascinating chateaux, Chateau de Ste
Suzanne (which you can walk to) and Chateau de Crosville sur Douve. La Maison des Marais at St-
Come-du-Mont- interesting displays and walks (and boat trips)
A coast walk round Cap de la Hague-spectacular scenery. At Cartaret we found a lovely quiet beach-
safely overseen and beautiful to swim here. The WW2 museum at St Mere Eglise is worth a visit, the
parachutist dangling from the church tower gives a good photo! We also liked St Vaast la Hougue –
nice harbour and pretty town (big car park at sea side by the harbour). Utah beach also interesting.
We had reasonable weather and enjoyed a refreshing and interesting break. We hope you enjoy it
too!"

"Thank you for help and thoughtfulness from our first phone call onwards. The gite is absolutely
lovely and I hope you have many more satisfied visitors! Whilst here we have particularly enjoyed
visiting Cite de la Mer (good for rainy day) a bell foundry at Villedieu les Poeles, the canal and port at
Carentan and the beach at St Vaast le Hougue. I don’t doubt you will have return booking."
