The gite (holiday cottage) is set in a quiet countryside location, just a short drive from beautiful uncrowded sandy beaches, and ideally placed for visiting Mont St Michel, Bayeux, and the Landing Beaches, or house hunting in the cotentin area. The attractive market towns of La Haye du Puits and Portbail are just 6km and 8km away, and have all the
shops you need, including supermarkets and good butchers, bakers and other independent shops. If you are a fan of French street
markets there is one available every day within easy driving distance (Portbail Tuesday, La Haye du Puits Wednesday). There are many fetes, fairs and festivals during the year, or you might just want to enjoy
the quietness & beauty of the surrounding countryside.
Rue Bertiniere is a recently converted traditional Cotentin stone cottage in the longere style, in a peaceful and private location overlooking the Normandy landscape.
