My husband and I moved permanently to France in 2006 after many years enjoying the people, culture and food of Normandy, having bought a holiday home in La Fouille in 2002.
We had a holiday Welkom nearby which we also let as a gite, and sold it to pay for the restoration of our current house and gite in Lithaire.
Colin retired hurt after a long spell in the police force, and Joy had her own antique business specialising in French antiques furniture from Normandy,
which is how our interest in France began. We have found the local population to be extremely welcoming and friendly, and we were overjoyed (and surprised!) to find out that our property had been selected for 3rd prize in the district 'concours de fleurissement' - villages in bloom competition 2011.
We are on hand to help you with any questions or advice you need to help you enjoy your holiday, but rest-assured as well as access to our garden areas to the garden areas you have your own private terrace too!
