During the year there are many festuvals and fairs throughout Manche and Calvados as well as the regular weekly markets. They annual events tend to be on the same weekend every year, but for exact dates look at the Manche Agenda website. Our particular favourite include the enormous Foire St. Croix at Lessay, the Chauffer dans le noirceur and Jazz sous le pommiers music festivals, and whelk festival at Pirou plage and the carrot fair at Creances(really!).
